The following Series 300 Beta Gauges are available from NDC:

Model 301 Strontium 90 gauge: For basis weight measurements of products in the range of 100 g/m2 to 5500g/m2.
Model 302 Krypton 85 gauge: For basis weight measurements of products in the range of 25 g/m2 to 1200g/m2.

NDC’s Model 300 family of intelligent beta transmission sensors incorporates application-specific minimized activity sources, each selected for a specific web measurement application. These are each combined with a proprietary high-efficiency detector which is coupled to a stable pre-amplifier and digital converter that is resident in the detector head. The gauge also utilizes an advanced Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that delivers linear measurement data directly at the sensor level. This design insures a noise-immune and drift-free digital output to the host computer. Fast sensor response time and high-speed data processing enable high- resolution at maximum scanning speed combined with superior measurement sensitivity and precision.
