Merilife Megasorb Plus
Megasorb PlusTM is a mid-term absorbable braided and coated (Antibacterial with Chlorhexidene) synthetic suture made of Polyglycolic acid. Megasorb PlusTM degrades by hydrolysis and provides a predictable and reliable absorption.
When dyed only FDA approved color additives such as D&C Violet no. 2 are used.
Megasorb PlusTM meets all the requirements established by United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) for synthetic absorbable surgical sutures (except for an occasional slight oversize in some gauges).
