The CS4 humidifier operates in accordance with the evaporation principle which is proven to be one of the best methods for humidification in buildings. This particular procedure ensures that calcium deposits or water precipitation do not form.

The humidifier is electronically controlled with a CH1 humidistat, a microprocessor based system with 2 outputs. Used in conjunction with either the HPS-01 or
the HPS-03 power supplies the CH1 will control a wide variety of humidifiers, dehumidifiers and heaters. Operating on normal or purified tap water the unit, unlike many other humidifier brands, has a removable water reservoir, thus avoiding the necessity to bring open water containers to the humidifier. The reservoir can be filled away from the humidifier and returned and inserted without the risk of spillage.
