The EVD and EFB stepper technologies based HVAC actuator platforms, under the Saia-Burgess brand, are typically favored by European OEMs. These actuator platforms are custom engineered for integration in specific HVAC systems. The Johnson Electric product development process continues to advance the EVD and EFB product lines to meet or exceed customers’ ppm goals. The new generation of products support the continuing improvements in fuel efficiency and set new standards for cabin noise reduction. The EFB product line is developed with new electronics for lower power consumption, silent motor operation and further improved EMC behavior. Our DC motor-based HVAC actuator platforms, also under the Saia-Burgess brand, are often favored by American OEMs . The latest addition to this DC product line is the Gen III module which provides higher torque, lower noise and a smaller packaging.
