Merisoft ChromicTM gut suture is a natural absorbable suture composed of purified connective tissue, mostly collagen, derived from sheep intestine. It is tanned with chromium salts to delay its absorption in the body.

Properties

Merisoft ChromicTM gut suture is treated with a chromium salt solution to resist the enzymatic action, prolonging the absorption time up to 90 to 120 days.

Indications

Merisoft ChromicTM suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
