WILAMED WILAflow Elite

The WILAflow Elite is a microprocessor-controlled, non-invasive ventilator for the smallest and most sensitive patients with a variety of advanced, non-invasive ventilation modes, including Apnea wake-up and automatic leakage compensation.
Fully automatic pressure adjustment
The WILAflow Elite sets the value for pressure control fully automatic.
Direct adjustment of oxygen concentration
The WILAflow Elite works with an electronic air / oxygen mixer technology, which enables a very precise adjustment of the required oxygen concentration at the push of a button and automatically proportionates the oxygen and air supply. The intelligent flow sensor and the proportional valve enable a real-time analysis of the selected ventilation parameters and the oxygen concentration.
Precise oxygen concentration
The WILAflow Elite delivers consistently precise O2 concentrations at positive pressure, which contributes to better gas exchange of the alveoli and improves spontaneous breathing. The proven WILAflow CPAP generator also reduces the amount of work to be done (WOB, Work of Breathing) during inhalation and exhalation.
IFlow – Innovative control of gas and pressure supply
The iFlow control system has been specifically designed to protect particularly sensitive patients. IFlow adapts the fresh gas supply and the airway pressure to suit the needs. The proximal pressure monitoring (below the nose) and the real-time leakage compensation enable a stable pressure release. In the event of a leak, iFlow compensates the gas in real time to maintain a stable positive airway pressure. The system can compensate for leaks – a maximum of 25%, making the WILAflow Elite the most advanced non-invasive ventilator in the market.
Safe breathing cessation
The WILAflow Elite is equipped with the SNIPPV / NIPPV, NCPAP and HFNC modes for safe breathing cessation.
WILAflow Elite – specially developed for the non-invasive ventilation of premature or newborns.
Safe and reliable
WILAflow Elite allows proximal pressure monitoring without compromising mechanical dead space and compliance. The device ensures a constantly accurate measurement of the airway pressure in the patient.
Active air humidification – essential for nCPAP therapy
The physiological functions of the nose and airways are the heating, moistening and filtering of the inhaled gases before they enter the lungs. In normal breathing, the nasal mucosa and upper airways provide 75% of the heat and moisture that is passed into the lower airways and alveoli. Before inhaled air enters the alveoli, it is heated to 37 ° C. and brought to a relative humidity of 100%. Although the upper airways are not bypassed during nCPAP therapy, the continuously administered high flow rates – especially in newborns with underdeveloped lung – can deplete the airways.
“Adequate humidification is important to keep the airways clear, optimize ventilation, and improve patient comfort.”
Optionally available breathing sensor
The abdominal breathing sensor allows the clinician to monitor the patient for apnea / low respiratory frequencies in both nCPAP and bi-phasic modes. The accessories include the WILAflow Elite signal box and the one-way ventilation sensor. In the bi-phasic triggers mode, both provide for the monitoring of a patient-triggered respiratory rate.
